Frontend Engineer& Accessibility Expert.
I'm a frontend engineer with 7 years of experience building and owning production interfaces across Web3 and the broader web. I care deeply about accessibility, performance, and thoughtful engineering, particularly when working on complex products and challenging interfaces.
Continued sole frontend ownership of the Web3 trading platform after transitioning to Shaper Labs, maintaining and extending the codebase built at Subharmonic.
Developed multiple versions of the entire frontend from the ground up, covering architecture, components, API integration, and delivery. Implemented a landing page with complex scroll-driven animations and interactions from scratch. Got introduced to the KYC/KYB process and implemented the entire workflow including document, identity and address verifications and sanctions screening.
Brought together a collection of standalone GitHub applications into a unified Turborepo monorepo and implemented V2 of the product, including its new landing page, while refactoring the application code for improved scalability, maintainability, and future development.
Developed the frontend of a cargo and logistics platform, delivering reusable responsive components, key user workflows, and API integration. Worked directly with the CEO and GM to align the product with business requirements.
Seven years working across agencies, startups, and as an independent consultant, I have worked with clients from all over the world including countries like Bulgaria, United States and Canada and here's some feedback that I have collected about my work.
Osama is extremely knowledgable in his subjects he helped me a lot through my journey. Whenever I was having an issue, he was always there to answer my questions and whenever my questions were a bit more complex, he took the time to research and again help me get through the hurdle. His English is beyond excellent and I would definitely work with him again in the future!
Communicates well and works smart. We had a positive experience working with Osama.
I had the pleasure of working with Osama for almost 3 years, as he was leading the development team of Arrow Markets. To put it boldly, Osama is the ultimate professional, someone not only possessing an incredible skill set and knowledge but also a great communicator, thus making my work as a designer a lot easier. I can't recommend him enough!
Osama was great as always, tirelessly working to complete the project with quality and in time! This was my second time, would hire him again!
We had a good experience working with Osama. He works hard and takes feedback well.
Osama is a great developer and showed strong desire to get the project setup correctly from the beginning.
Outside of client work, I spend time building things that interest me. Some are tools that scratch my own itch as a developer, others are products I want to exist in the world. None of these are finished and frankly, I do find it difficult to make time to build them but I am slowly making progress and I hope to have these projects built and published for the world to see and use very soon.
A social media platform built exclusively for Muslims. This is my own idea and I bought a premium domain for it too. I am using a local LLM to help me build it although my 3080Ti also seems to struggle with inline code suggestions. I am quite passionate about it and if I am able to build it, this is going to be the biggest achievement of my development career. I am working on everything myself here from DevOps to Monitoring, Databases, Backend and of course Frontend.
A full React component library in the spirit of Ant Design or Material UI, built with accessibility and developer experience as first-class concerns. I had initially called it One UI but then Samsung released their own UI with the same name so I had to go with Imagine UI. Could I sue Samsung if I had gotten to publishing it first? Maybe not...
View on GitHub →This is for a home-chef restaurant that my family started. They wanted a website built for it so I hired a designer to work on the logo and theming while I designed and built the landing page myself. A React Native app is also currently in the works.
Visit site →An ESLint plugin that enforces consistent, well-structured export patterns across JavaScript and TypeScript projects. I published an initial version of this back when AI was in it's infancy and it partially worked but now that I understand ASTs a little better, I plan to implement more rules but again, need to allocate time for it.
